We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the One who restores what is broken. How beautiful it is that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. You have done well to invoke the name above all names, for as Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is in this mighty name that we boldly approach the throne of grace together.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not of God, for our Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Let the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your son’s heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray for the renewing of his mind by the Holy Spirit, that he may be transformed by the truth of God’s Word (Romans 12:2). May the Lord grant him restful sleep, free from torment, and fill his dreams with visions of hope and restoration. *"He gives his beloved sleep"* (Psalm 127:2, WEB), and we claim this promise over him tonight.
We also pray for protection over your son, that the Lord would surround him with His angels, encamping around him to deliver him from all evil (Psalm 34:7). May the blood of Jesus be a hedge of protection over his life, shielding him from every attack of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and may the Lord expose and dismantle every scheme of darkness that seeks to harm him. We ask for divine comfort to envelop him, that he would feel the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit reminding him that he is deeply loved by the Father. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). May your son experience this closeness in a profound way.
To you, dear parent, we offer this encouragement: do not grow weary in praying. Persist in faith, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are fighting a spiritual battle, but the victory has already been won through Christ Jesus. Stand firm in the authority He has given you, and continue to speak life and healing over your son. Trust that the Lord hears your cries and is working even now, for His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch this young man with Your healing power. Restore him completely, Lord—body, soul, and spirit. Break every chain of bondage and fill him with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Let Your light shine in the darkness he may be facing, and lead him into the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide. Strengthen his mother/father as they intercede for him, filling them with Your hope and perseverance. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. This is our heritage as servants of the Lord, and our righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your promises, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
