We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. Your heart for him reflects the Father’s love, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is mighty to save and restore. You have rightly come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to see breakthroughs. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by this same name that we boldly approach God for healing, deliverance, and protection.
The spirit of psychosis you mention is not from God, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that the Lord would renew your son’s mind, washing him with the water of His Word, that he may experience the peace of God which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord break every chain of confusion, torment, or darkness, and fill him instead with the light of Christ, who is the *"Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"* (Isaiah 9:6, WEB).
We also pray for his physical healing, asking the Lord to strengthen his body and restore every cell, organ, and system to perfect health. *"By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we claim that promise over your son today. May the Lord surround him with His angels, protecting him from all harm and evil, as it is written: *"He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and may every tongue that rises against him be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would comfort your son with Your love, which is deeper than any pain or struggle he faces. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing he is never alone. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Grant him peaceful sleep, free from nightmares or restlessness, and awaken him with joy and hope each morning. Fill his heart with Your Word, that he may meditate on Your truth day and night and find strength in You alone.
To you, dear parent, we offer this encouragement: do not grow weary in praying. *"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord"* (1 Corinthians 15:58, WEB). Your intercession is powerful, and the Lord hears every cry of your heart. Trust in His timing, for *"hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees? But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience"* (Romans 8:24-25, WEB). Lean on the Lord for your own strength, casting all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we urge you to continue covering your son in prayer, speaking life and Scripture over him daily. Surround him with godly community and, if possible, seek wise, biblical counseling to walk alongside him in this season. Let us all remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Ephesians 6:12, Romans 8:37).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We trust You with this precious son, believing that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Let Your will be done in his life, and may he emerge from this trial stronger, wiser, and more deeply rooted in You. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
