We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete restoration in body, mind, and spirit. Your heart as a parent reflects the deep love of our Heavenly Father, who longs to see His children whole and walking in His peace. We stand with you in faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God, who is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The spirit of psychosis is not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuked this spirit in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in your son than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let every chain of mental torment be broken, and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for his physical healing, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, he is already healed (1 Peter 2:24). May the Lord restore his strength, renew his body, and fill him with vitality. Let every cell, organ, and system align with God’s perfect design, and may his sleep be deep, restorative, and free from disturbance. The Lord is his keeper; He is his shade on every side (Psalm 121:5). No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Spiritually, we ask that your son be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fullness of God’s love and truth. May his heart be tender to the Lord’s voice, and may he find his identity and security in Christ alone. If there are any areas of unconfessed sin, rebellion, or openness to the enemy, we pray the Holy Spirit would convict him lovingly and lead him to repentance. Let him be rooted and grounded in the Word of God, which is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we also lift up this parent who is standing in the gap for their son. Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, that they may not grow weary in well-doing (Galatians 6:9). Fill them with Your peace, knowing that You hear their prayers and are at work, even when they cannot see it. Surround them with Your comfort and the support of Your people, that they may stand firm in faith.
We declare that your son is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and his days are written in Your book. You have plans for him—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Let him arise from this season stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You than ever before. May his testimony bring glory to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, which are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Let Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of all You have called him to be. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
