We join with you in praying for your son's healing and protection. Let us approach God's throne of grace with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6 WEB
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother's son to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon him, body, soul, and spirit.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of psychosis and command it to leave in Jesus' name. May You bless him with peaceful sleep and a sound mind. Your Word says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. We claim this promise for him.
Surround him with Your angels, protecting him from all harm and evil. As You promised in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Comfort him with Your love and peace, Lord. Fill his heart with the knowledge that You are always with him, and You care for him deeply. "Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10 WEB.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual growth. Draw him close to You, Lord. Help him to know Jesus personally and grow in His likeness.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting that God is at work in his life. Remember the promise of James 5:16 WEB, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Stand strong in your faith, knowing that God hears your prayers and cares for your son even more than you do. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
