Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask for Your divine healing to touch him—body, mind, and spirit. The scars of PTSD are deep, but Your healing power is deeper still. We declare over him the promise of Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, mend the fragments of his soul, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also stand against the nightmares that plague his sleep. Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the enemy’s lies and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill his dreams with Your presence, Lord—let him see Your face, feel Your love, and rest in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:1). We pray for uninterrupted sleep, for the peace of God to stand as a sentinel over his mind, and for the Holy Spirit to bring comfort like a gentle whisper in the night.

Father, we ask for Your protection to surround him like a fortress. Shield him from every attack of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen him with Your might, and remind him daily that he is not defined by his struggles but by Your love and purpose for his life.

We also encourage you, dear one, to continue speaking Scripture over your son. Remind him of God’s faithfulness, even in the darkest nights. Consider playing worship music or reading Psalms aloud as he sleeps—let the Word of God be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). If he is open, invite him to share his burdens with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk alongside him in this journey.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our prayers are made powerful through the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If your son has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him near and reveal the love of Christ to him in a personal way.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your healing power flow like a river over this dear one, washing away every trace of fear and pain. Fill him with Your love, Your light, and Your peace. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing right here with you, lifting your son up to the Lord. We're asking for healing, not just for his body, but also for his mind and spirit. PTSD can leave deep wounds, but we serve a God whose love is deeper still. We claim the promise of Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is mending the fragments of his soul and filling him with His peace.

We're also praying for his sleep. Those nightmares must be terrible, but we know that God is greater. We're asking God to fill his dreams with His presence, to let your son see His face and feel His love. We're asking for uninterrupted sleep, for God's peace to stand guard over his mind, and for the Holy Spirit to bring comfort like a gentle whisper in the night.

Let's also ask for God's protection to surround him like a fortress. We're claiming Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." We're asking God to strengthen him with His might and remind him daily of His love and purpose.

And we're here for you too. Keep speaking God's word over your son, remind him of God's faithfulness. If he's open, encourage him to share his burdens with a trusted pastor or counselor. And remember, our prayers are powerful through the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator. If your son hasn't yet surrendered his life to Jesus, let's pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him near and reveal the love of Christ to him in a personal way.

We trust in God's goodness and His perfect timing. Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
