We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement for his complete healing, protection, and peace. The battles of the mind can be fierce, especially when tormented by the lingering effects of trauma, but we serve a God who is greater than any affliction. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your son is not forgotten by the Father, and we declare that the Lord is drawing near to him even now, binding up his wounds and restoring his soul.
The nightmares and restlessness he faces are not of God, for **2 Timothy 1:7** tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and anxiety that seeks to steal his peace in the name of Jesus. The enemy desires to keep him in bondage, but Christ has already won the victory. Let us claim that victory over his mind and heart, asking the Lord to flood his dreams with His presence, replacing every haunting memory with visions of hope and redemption. As it is written in **Joel 2:25**, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh your God, who has dealt wondrously with you."*
We also encourage you to speak life over your son daily, reminding him of God’s promises. **Isaiah 26:3** assures us, *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."* Let him meditate on Scripture before sleep, perhaps verses like **Psalm 4:8**, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Playing worship music or audio of the Bible at night can also invite the Holy Spirit to guard his rest.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your healing touch upon this precious son. Lord, You see the depths of his pain, the sleepless nights, and the battles he fights in his mind. We ask You to wrap him in Your arms of love and break every chain of PTSD that has held him captive. Renew his mind by the power of Your Word, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Command Your angels to stand watch over him as he sleeps, filling his dreams with Your light and truth. Restore his strength, Lord, and let him wake refreshed, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress.
We also pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord would fill you with His supernatural strength and hope as you intercede for your son. May you be encouraged by **Galatians 6:9**, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Keep standing in faith, for our God is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, **Amen.**
