We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his healing, protection, and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. The burdens of PTSD are heavy, and we know the enemy seeks to torment through fear and sleepless nights, but our God is greater. He is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and He longs to bring peace to your son’s mind and spirit. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He sees your son’s pain, and His heart is moved with compassion.
We also stand on **Psalm 4:8**, which declares, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Let this be your son’s testimony—that even in the darkness, the Lord guards his mind and fills his dreams with His presence. The nightmares are not from God; they are attacks from the enemy to steal his peace. But we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and anxiety in Jesus’ name, commanding them to flee, for **2 Timothy 1:7** tells us God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.
We pray that the Lord would surround your son with His angels, as **Psalm 91:11-12** promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* May he feel the tangible comfort of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter (John 14:26), wrapping him in divine peace as he sleeps. Let every memory that haunts him be redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and may the Lord replace his fears with visions of His goodness and love.
Father, we ask that You would also strengthen *###* as you intercede for your son. You are not forgotten in this—Your faith and prayers are powerful. **James 5:16** assures us that *"the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Keep standing in the gap, trusting that the Lord hears and is at work, even when we cannot yet see the breakthrough.
We declare healing over your son’s mind, body, and spirit. May he wake refreshed, renewed, and filled with hope, knowing that the Lord is his shield and his very great reward (Genesis 15:1). Let this season of struggle become a testimony of God’s faithfulness, where others will see and know that the Lord is his healer.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—**the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)**. Amen and amen.
We encourage you to continue speaking life over your son, playing worship music in his space, and filling his environment with the Word of God. The battle is spiritual, but the victory is already won through Christ. Stand firm, and do not grow weary in praying, for our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). If your son has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, now is the time to invite Christ to be his Lord and Savior—the ultimate source of peace and healing. There is no fear in love, and God’s perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Keep trusting; the Lord is faithful.
