We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and protection for our beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces due to PTSD, and we ask that You comfort him and grant him peaceful sleep, free from nightmares. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, and help him to rest in Your embrace.
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon his mind and spirit. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:7, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for his protection, as we are instructed in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
In Jesus' name, we pray for his complete restoration and healing.
As a group, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's faithfulness and love. Remind your son of God's promises and encourage him to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Remember the words of Romans 8:26, the Spirit helps us to pray when we do not know how to pray. In this spirit, continue to lift up your son, and trust that God is working in his life, even through these challenges.
In closing, remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33, These things I have spoken to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
