We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your beloved son to the Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought your request in the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Let us remind ourselves of God's promises, as written in Psalm 147:3:
HE heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We ask heavenly father, according to Your Word in Psalm 4:8:
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, alone makes me dwell in safety.
Heavenly Father comforts us. There are many Scriptures, such as Psalm 34:18, that tells us:
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Also we are instructed in Philippians 4:6-7 to:
6) Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts, through Christ Jesus.
Again, we are instructed by the apostle Peter in 1 Peter 5:7:
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Therefore, we pray for your son's healing, both physical and emotional, knowing that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (WEB, 2 Timothy 1:7). We ask God to banish the nightmares and fill your son's dreams with His love and light.
We pray for your son's protection, knowing that God is the strength of our heart and our portion forever (WEB, Psalm 73:26). We ask God to surround your son with His angels, to guide and guard him in all his ways (WEB, Psalm 91:11).
We pray for your son to allow Jesus into every area of his mind, including his dreams, so that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
