We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." and in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and protection for this dear son. You know the depths of his struggles, the echoes of trauma that haunt his nights. We ask that You would comfort him, that You would guard his mind and his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that causes these nightmares. In their place, we pray that You would fill his dreams with Your love and light. May he find solace and strength in You, and may he sleep peacefully, knowing that You are always with him.
We also pray for his healing, Father. Heal his mind, his emotions, and any physical manifestations of his PTSD. We claim Your promises in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh".
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember, God is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. He is more than able to heal your son and grant him peaceful nights. Keep your faith steadfast and unwavering, for "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much" James 5:16.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of declaring God's promises over your son's life. Speak God's word and His promises over him, and watch as the Lord brings transformation and healing.
