We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. We are reminded of the Psalmist's words, "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection" (Psalm 91:4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this son. Lord, You are the ultimate healer, and we believe that through Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Protect him from all harm and let Your peace envelop him, especially during the night.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that causes these nightmares and claim Your perfect love drives out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill his dreams with Your love and light, and grant him restful sleep, just as You did for Your disciples amidst the storm (Mark 4:39).
Guide him to draw closer to You, seeking You first for his PTSD. Remind him to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You will bring him to a place of complete healing and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that our God is a God of miracles. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He cares for you and your son (1 Peter 5:7). Continue to declare healing and protection over his life, and remember the power of agreeing in prayer (Matthew 18:19).
If he has not already, guide him to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior. Remind him that we only have access to God the Father through Jesus Christ. We must believe in Jesus Christ and that he died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead for our sins to be forgiven.
