We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep from the nightmares caused by PTSD. We stand in agreement with you, calling upon the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of this dear son. We ask that You would extend Your healing hand upon him, breaking the chains of PTSD that have kept him bound. We pray for Your divine protection over his mind, body, and spirit, and we rebuke the spirit of fear that may be tormenting him with nightmares.
Father, we ask that You would grant him peaceful sleep, and that You would comfort him in the midst of his struggles. We know that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You are more than able to bring healing and restoration to this son's life.
We pray Isaiah 26:3 WEB over him: "You will keep whoever's mind is steady, because he trusts in you." We ask that You would steady his mind and help him to trust in You, even in the midst of his struggles.
Lord, we also pray that You would guide him to a Godly Christian counselor or counseling group and support system, that they may walk alongside him and provide the help that he needs. We pray that You would give him the courage to seek out this help, and that You would provide for all of his needs according to Your riches in glory.
Father, we ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, and it is in His name that we believe that this son will be healed, protected, and delivered from the nightmares of PTSD. May he come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ, shedding the guilt, shame, and pain of his past. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, and to trust in the promises of God. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "...The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Keep crying out to God on behalf of your son, and believe that He is more than able to bring healing and restoration to his life.
Lastly, we gently remind you to be mindful of the special characters or symbols you may include in your prayers. We want to focus on the power of the word of God and the name of Jesus Christ, and we ask that you do the same.
