We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. We stand on the promises of God, who tells us in Psalm 121:5, “Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand,” and in Psalm 4:8, “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety.”
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. You know the depth of his struggles, the pain of his experiences, and the terror of his nightmares. We ask, Lord, that You stretch forth Your hand and touch him, healing his mind and body from the effects of PTSD.
We pray for Your supernatural peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as per Philippians 4:7. Cast out all fears and anxieties, and grant him the peaceful sleep that only You can give. Station Your angels around him, Lord, to protect him and keep him safe.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We proclaim healing and wholeness over his life, believing that what You have promised, You are able to perform.
Lord, comfort him in the midst of his struggles. Let him feel Your loving presence enveloping him, giving him the strength and courage to face each day. Guide him to supportive communities and wise counsel that can aid in his recovery.
Father, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and reveal to him the power of Your love and the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone. As it is written in Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
In Jesus’ name, we pray for complete healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for this dear son. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. God hears your prayers and He cares for your son even more than you do. Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying in the name of Jesus. As we are promised in 1 John 5:14-15, “This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.”
