Thank you for sharing your request for healing, protection and financial provision. I am praying with you and for you in the name of Jesus.
I want to encourage you about healing. Scripture shows that Jesus has compassion for the sick. He touched the leper, He healed the centurion's servant from a distance, He lifted Peter's mother in law from fever, and when crowds came in the evening He healed many who were sick and set free those oppressed by evil spirits. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah that He has borne our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That tells us His work on the cross reaches both our souls and our bodies, and that He has power in the physical realm and in the spiritual realm.
At the same time the Bible keeps us balanced. The well known words about prospering and being in health were written as a loving personal greeting and wish from John to Gaius, not as a blanket guarantee that every believer will always be well. It does show us something beautiful, that God cares about your health, and that there is a real connection between the health of your soul and the health of your body. Our attitudes, our peace, our trust in the Lord can affect our body chemistry and our overall wellbeing. God is interested in your whole life, including how you care for your body through wise habits, good food, rest and cleanliness. Those things are not what make you righteous before God, but they are part of good stewardship of the life He has given you.
I also believe that God still heals today, and that healing is truly from Him whether it comes instantly with a touch or a word, or gradually through the natural processes He created in our bodies. Every healing process is divine because God is the one who designed our bodies to heal. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it. When healing does not come as we hope, it is wrong to say it must be because of hidden sin or lack of faith. The Lord knows, He loves you, and He remains sovereign and good.
For protection, remember that Jesus has authority over the material world, He calmed the wind and the sea with a word, and He has authority over every spiritual power. He is able to guard you and keep you as you trust Him.
For your financial need, the Lord sees the pressure you are under. The early believers in Jerusalem knew deep poverty and trial, and other churches who were themselves poor still gave joyfully to help them. God does not call His people to give because of pressure or manipulation or forced pledges, but He does promise to provide and to meet our needs as we walk honestly before Him, work faithfully, and trust Him with what we have. Pray for wisdom in stewardship, for open doors for work and provision, and for contentment and generosity that comes from joy in Christ.
So I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus I ask that You touch this dear one with Your healing power, whether instantly or gradually according to Your perfect wisdom. Bring strength to the body, peace to the mind, and prosperity to the soul through fellowship with You. Cover this life with Your protection from harm and from the power of the enemy. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches, give wisdom for each decision, and let there be a testimony of Your faithful care. Help this heart to rest in Your love, to trust Your timing, and to know the presence of Jesus more deeply each day. Amen.
