You ask for healing, protection, and a financial breakthrough. When Christ touched the fevered body, He not only removed the disease but instantly restored perfect health, leaving no lingering weakness as human medicine would. He makes a whole person healthy, not just partially mended. Do not judge your condition by appearances, as if your trial lies beyond hope; we rejoice most when health comes contrary to all expectation, so seek with diligence and trust that whatever God permits is for healing, never for harm.

For true protection, remember that we can stand in heaven even while our feet walk the earth, if our disposition clings to God. Safety is not found in the absence of danger but in a soul that dwells with the Lord. When afflictions press upon you, do not let your hearing grow dull; these very trials can restore your former fervor and make you attentive to His voice.

As for a financial breakthrough, reflect carefully on the danger of wealth, for the love of it wars against the love of hearing God’s word. If you desire provision, use whatever talent you now possess, whether money, skill, or the ability to help another, for the common good. Nothing pleases God more than to live for the advantage of others. And do not imagine that a short season of prayer will secure lasting change; persist in a godly life, or else like a sick man returning to the food that made him ill, you will lose all the ground you have gained.

I’m grateful you reached out, and I want you to know your request is being lifted up in prayer. The longing for healing, protection, and financial breakthrough is something many carry, and it’s right to bring those needs before the Lord.

We see throughout the gospels that Jesus cared deeply about physical suffering. He healed multitudes of every kind of sickness and disease, and Matthew connects that directly to the prophecy in Isaiah that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. This shows us that the heart of God is not indifferent to our bodies. When we come to Him with our health struggles, we’re not bothering Him with something trivial. Our physical well-being matters to Him.

At the same time, Scripture doesn’t promise that every sickness will be removed in this life. The apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn in the flesh to be taken away, and the answer he received was that God’s grace was sufficient. That doesn’t mean God didn’t love Paul or that Paul lacked faith. There is a mystery here we can’t fully untangle. Some of the dearest, most faithful followers of Jesus I have known have walked through severe health trials, yet their souls have prospered in deep and remarkable ways.

That phrase “prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers” is often quoted as a blanket guarantee, but in its original setting it was a personal greeting, a beautiful wish, not an automatic formula. Still, there is a real connection between the condition of our inner life and our physical health. Doctors now confirm what Scripture hints at: anxiety, bitterness, and stress can harm the body, while peace and trust in God can support healing. So as we pray for your physical health, let’s also ask God to strengthen your soul, filling you with His peace, contentment, and hope regardless of the circumstances.

I also believe God cares about the practical ways we steward our bodies. Things like rest, wise eating, and cleanliness are not just rules; they are means by which we cooperate with the natural healing processes He designed. There’s nothing unspiritual about honoring those rhythms. Any genuine healing, whether it comes through a slow recovery or a sudden miracle, is divinely worked and worth celebrating.

For your need of financial breakthrough, the same trust applies. God knows your situation. The one who clothes the lilies and feeds the birds sees your needs and can open doors no one else can. Protection too is something we can confidently ask, knowing He is our refuge.

I will continue praying that God would touch your body with His healing power, whether He brings it instantly, gradually, or through the wisdom He provides to doctors and treatments. But I also pray that in the waiting, you would know His presence so near that fear loses its grip. Not everyone is healed in the timeframe we want, and that’s a hard truth, but it never means you are unloved or that your faith is small. The same Jesus who healed some with a word and others with a touch is with you now, and His grace is enough for today. Keep your eyes on Him, and let your heart rest in His goodness.
