We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for healing, protection, and financial breakthrough. First and foremost, we rejoice that this request is made in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister in Christ who is facing health challenges. We declare Your promise over their life: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We rebuke every sickness, disease, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares that by His wounds, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We pray for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit—so that they may serve You with renewed strength and vigor. Lord, guide the hands of the physicians and healthcare providers attending to them, and grant them wisdom to administer the right treatments.
We also lift up their need for protection. Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly hosts, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12: "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Shield them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and any schemes of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Regarding the financial breakthrough, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). We pray that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Lord, we ask that You give them wisdom in managing their finances, as Your Word says, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty" (Proverbs 21:5). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and grant them opportunities to prosper in ways that honor You. We rebuke any spirit of lack or poverty in the name of Jesus, for You came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
We also encourage our brother or sister to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they find their strength in You, for those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
