We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for healing, protection, and longevity. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that true healing, protection, and eternal life come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your promise of healing. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration of body, mind, and spirit for those in need of healing. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them trust in Your perfect will. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that by His wounds, we are healed.
Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over our lives. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). Shield us from harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
For longevity, Lord, we ask that You extend our days according to Your will. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). May we live lives that honor You, bearing fruit in every season (Psalm 92:14). We pray for strength and vitality, that we may serve You all the days of our lives. Help us to walk in obedience to Your Word, for it is written that if we listen carefully to Your voice and do what is right in Your eyes, You will not bring on us any of the diseases You brought on the Egyptians, for You are the Lord who heals us (Exodus 15:26).
We also take a moment to examine our lives, Lord. Are there areas where we have strayed from Your commands? Are there sins that we need to confess and repent of? Search our hearts, O God, and know our thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). Forgive us, cleanse us, and renew a steadfast spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).
We declare that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We resist the enemy and his schemes, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). We put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:14-17). We pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
Father, we trust in Your promises and Your perfect timing. We know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to wait patiently for Your deliverance. May we be like the tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever we do prospers (Psalm 1:3).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
