We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have sought His healing in the name of Jesus, for it is by His stripes that we are healed. Your request aligns with Scripture, which assures us that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for our physical well-being and longs to restore us. Let us hold fast to His promises, for He is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him.
The Word of God declares in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that the Lord will lift you from this sickness and restore your strength. We also remember **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, which reminds us, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."*
Yet, as we pray for your healing, we also encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Sickness can sometimes be a call to draw nearer to Him, to repent of any known sin, or to seek His will more earnestly. **Psalm 32:3-5 (WEB)** tells us, *"When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."* If there is anything the Lord is bringing to your attention, we urge you to lay it before Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, asking for Your healing touch to be upon them. Lord Jesus, You bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross, and by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask that You rebuked this cough and every symptom of illness in their body, commanding it to leave in Your mighty name. Restore their strength, renew their lungs, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, if there is any area in their life that needs surrender or repentance, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to walk in obedience. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. May this season of sickness draw them closer to You and deepen their faith. We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on His promises, such as **Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)**, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh;"* and **Isaiah 53:5 (WEB)**, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* Stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Keep us updated on your progress, and let us continue to lift you up in prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.
