Please, I am humbly but urgently requesting prayers for two-year-old Marissa, who has stage-four neuroblastoma.
Nicole and & Chris are parents of three beautiful children: Adrianna 6, Marissa 2, and Aiden 6 months.
Last October 6th they received devastating news that their daughter Marissa had stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a cancerous tumor in her stomach. Over the past year she received 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, in which they nearly lost her, and a clinical trial of immunotherapy. Chris and Nicole were told Marissa was in remission! They had recently given birth to their youngest, Aiden & they finally could be happy, stress, worry, and pain free. As of November 5th, they took Marissa for her scan: she has relapsed and now has a tumor in her brain & shoulder. They were told the doctors cannot heal her. My eyes fill up every time I write or say this terrible, horrible news...I cannot begin to imagine the depth of pain Chris and Nicole and their family feel.
This family has been through so much in the last year alone. They have done research & there was hope with another clinical trial, but Marissa's case isn't eligible for this particular trial. The only other option the doctors gave is brain surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and another stem cell transplant all over again. They don't believe the pain-filled quality of life Marissa would endure after is worth it. Nicole & Chris have never given up on her & never will. They are the strongest people I have ever known & am honored to be a part of their lives.
Please find it in your heart to pray that God will grant this beautiful, deserving family a healing miracle.

They would love and appreciate any help they can get, and for people to bring awareness to Childhood Cancer, which would not only help them but others battling this disease, & the families who go through it with them. This is how loving and kind Chris and Nicole are.
We are all hoping and praying for a miracle for Marissa. Please, pray that through the power of the Holy Spirit, God will grant a healing miracle for Marissa. I ask this in Jesus' name. We know that with God all things are possible. Please join me in praying for a miracle for Marissa.
