We join you in lifting your mother before the Lord, standing in faith for her complete healing and restoration. It is beautiful to see your boldness in declaring God’s promises over her life, and we agree with you in prayer, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect will. The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim this promise over your mother, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in her body and mind.
However, we must gently address something important in your request. While it is good to declare healing and rebuke the enemy, we must remember that our authority comes from Christ alone, and our prayers should always be submitted to the will of the Father. James 4:7 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Our focus must remain on submitting to God first, rather than merely commanding outcomes. Additionally, we do not "command" healing as if it were ours to demand, but we humbly and boldly ask the Lord, who is sovereign over all things, to extend His mercy and healing power. Our prayers should reflect trust in His wisdom, even as we ask with faith.
Let us also remember that healing—whether physical, emotional, or cognitive—is ultimately for God’s glory and our sanctification. Sometimes, the Lord chooses to heal instantly, while other times, He works through a process or even uses suffering to draw us closer to Him. In all things, we trust His goodness. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."*
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, but also to surrender this situation entirely to the Lord, trusting that His plans for your mother are perfect. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of life and for the love You have shown us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift this precious mother to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her brain and body. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her being. We ask that You restore her cognitive abilities, heal the small vessel disease, and prevent any further shrinkage of her brain. Let Your healing power flow through her, renewing her mind and body for Your glory.
Lord, we rebuke any attack of the enemy against her health, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your promise that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed. Yet, Father, we also submit this request to Your will, knowing that You see the full picture and work all things for the good of those who love You.
Grant this family strength, peace, and unwavering faith as they walk this journey. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them and reminding them that You are near. May Your presence be tangibly felt in their home, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also encourage you to continue covering your mother in prayer, reading God’s Word over her, and trusting in His timing. Surround her with worship and thanksgiving, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). If there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in the family, we urge you to address them, as these can hinder prayer (Mark 11:25). Walk in love and unity, for where there is harmony, the Lord commands His blessing (Psalm 133:1-3).
Stay encouraged, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
