Healing prayer

We lift up your relative before the Lord, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. It is written in Psalm 103:2-4, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* We claim this promise over your relative’s life, trusting in the Lord’s power to restore and heal.

Yet we also know that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through medical treatment, divine intervention, or ultimately in eternity with Christ. Our prayer is that God’s will be done, for His glory and for the strengthening of faith in your family. We ask that the Lord would grant wisdom to the doctors, comfort to your relative, and peace that surpasses understanding to all who love him. May this trial draw him closer to Jesus, the Author of life, and may he find hope in the promise of eternal healing if that is God’s plan.

We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, remembering that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Claim victory in Jesus’ name, for He has overcome the world.

If your relative does not yet know Christ as his Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him—that salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone (Acts 4:12). There is no greater healing than the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life with God.

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved relative who is battling cancer. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and heals the sick. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, that every cancerous cell would be destroyed, and that his strength would be renewed. Give wisdom to his doctors, comfort to his heart, and faith to his spirit. If it is Your will, restore him completely, but above all, let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We rebuke the spirit of sickness and infirmity in Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill him with Your peace, and let this trial be a testimony of Your grace and power. If he does not yet know You, Lord, soften his heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as his Savior.

We trust in You, Lord, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting your relative up in prayer. We've been reminded of Job's steadfast faith in God despite his trials. Let's claim Job 5:18-19, "For He wounds, but He also binds up. He injures, but His hands also heal." We trust that God is in control, and He sees your relative's suffering. Let's ask for His healing touch, wisdom for the doctors, and comfort for your relative. We also pray for your family, that you'd find strength and unity in Christ during this time.
