We join with you in lifting up your sister before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is clear you have a heart of compassion and faith as you intercede for her, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is a God of miracles and mercy. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your sister today, believing that the Lord will bring healing to her body and strength to her spirit.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19-20, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* So we come together in unity, asking the Lord to touch her body, to regulate her blood pressure, and to remove every trace of edema and retained fluids. May the medicine she takes be effective, and may the doctors and staff attending to her be guided by divine wisdom and skill.
Yet, as we pray for her physical healing, we also lift up her heart and mind. Pregnancy and childbirth are beautiful gifts from God, but they can also bring physical and emotional challenges. We pray that she would feel the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May she be filled with gratitude for the life she has brought into this world and trust in the Lord’s provision for her and her child.
We also encourage you to continue to stand in faith, speaking life and healing over her. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Let your words be filled with faith and hope, for our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister in Christ who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every detail of her body. We ask that You would place Your hand upon her and bring complete healing to her hypertension and edema. Let every system in her body function as You designed it to, and may the fluids that are causing her discomfort be removed in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of medicine and the skill of doctors. We ask that You bless the treatment she is receiving, giving wisdom to those caring for her. May Your healing power flow through every pill, every procedure, and every word of encouragement she receives. Let her recovery be swift and complete, so that she may rise up in strength to care for her child and bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. Surround her with Your peace and fill her heart with joy. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You are with her in every moment of this journey. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand on that promise today. Lord, let Your will be done in her life, and may this season of recovery draw her closer to You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified through her healing, and may she and her family give testimony of Your faithfulness.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
