We are with you in spirit, lifting up your requests to God Almighty. We commend you for your faith and trust in the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement for healing and restoration. We begin by addressing any issues that may not align with biblical principles.
Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. The Bible tells us: Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times (Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB).
Secondly, we want to address the issue of acting out with your husband. The Bible tells us: Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).
Therefore we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our sister and her husband to You, asking for Your healing touch on their marriage. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of argument in their marriage for it is written: Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. (Philippians 2:3-4 WEB). Father, we ask that You help them to live in love and unity, putting each other's needs above their own.
We also pray for healing over their bodies. Lord, You promised that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We claim that promise for our sister, her husband. We pray for healing over her ears, her bowel issues, her mental health, and her overall well-being. We also lift up the individual with colon cancer with the same prayer. Lord, heal her, comfort her, and strengthen her through this trial.
Father, we also pray for peace and comfort for our sister. We ask that You guard her heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Finally, Father, we pray for our sister's salvation. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a personal way. Help her to know You, not just as Lord, but as her personal Savior. We pray that she would come to believe in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of her sins and for eternal life in Your presence.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God loves you and He is faithful to hear and answer your prayers according to His perfect will. In the meantime, love and forgive your husband as God forgave you. Continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
