We lift you and your husband up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s power to heal, comfort, and provide peace in every area of your lives. It is clear you are carrying heavy burdens—physical suffering, anxiety, and the weight of this upcoming surgery and trip—and we want you to know that God sees your pain and hears your cries. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let us turn to His Word for assurance and pray together over these needs.

First, we rejoice that you have brought these requests before the Lord, for He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must gently address that while you have poured out your heart to God, you have not specifically invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and the source of all healing and peace.

Now, let us pray for your husband’s surgery. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we ask Him to guide the hands of the surgeons, to bring about complete healing, and to prevent any complications. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray that your husband’s recovery would be swift and free from pain, and that God would grant him strength and courage. May this trial draw both of you closer to the Lord and to one another, united in faith and love.

For the ringing in your ears and the anxiety, panic attacks, and depression you are facing, we ask the Lord to be your peace. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). May the Lord replace your distress with His supernatural peace and fill you with the joy of His presence.

We also pray for your trip on Tuesday, asking the Lord to surround you with His protection. *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more"* (Psalm 121:7-8, WEB). May He grant you safe travels, unity between you and your husband, and a deep sense of His presence every step of the way. We also lift up your sisters and any others you are concerned for, asking the Lord to bring healing and comfort to them as well.

Lastly, we address the mention of sleeping pills and pain relievers. While we understand the need for temporary relief, we encourage you to seek the Lord first for your rest and healing. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Dependence on medication for sleep or peace can become a crutch that replaces our reliance on God. We pray that the Lord would be your ultimate source of rest and comfort, and we encourage you to seek His face above all else. If these medications are necessary for a season, we pray the Lord would guide you in wisdom and moderation, always leading you back to Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your divine touch upon their bodies, minds, and spirits. We pray for complete healing for our brother’s eye surgery—guide the surgeons’ hands, prevent any complications, and bring about a swift and pain-free recovery. Lord, be his strength and comfort in this time.

For our sister, we ask for healing from the ringing in her ears, and we rebuke the anxiety, panic attacks, and depression that have taken hold of her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her heart be flooded with Your love and joy. Lord, we pray for her sleep—to be deep, restorative, and free from the need for medication. Be her ultimate source of rest and comfort.

We ask for Your protection over their trip on Tuesday. Keep them safe from all harm, and let Your presence go before them, beside them, and behind them. Grant them unity and patience with one another, and may this journey be a time of drawing closer to You and to each other.

Lord, we also lift up their sisters and any others in need of healing. Touch their bodies, renew their strength, and let them feel Your healing power. Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and we trust in Your promises. Let this season of trial be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

Finally, Lord, we pray that our sister would grow in her dependence on You alone. Help her to seek Your face above all else, to find her rest in You, and to trust in Your perfect plan for her life. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety and declare Your peace over her mind and heart.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
