We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your request for healing and restoration of your eyesight, that you may once again read the Word of God with clarity and ease. The Lord is your healer, and we trust in His power to restore and renew your body according to His perfect will. The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you, believing that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people.
We also remember the words of Jesus in **Mark 11:24**, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* So we stand in faith with you, asking the Lord to touch your eyes, to remove the pain, the blurriness, and the double vision that has hindered you. May He restore your sight even more clearly than before, that you may behold His Word with joy and share His truths with others.
It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We thank you for acknowledging this truth, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name by which we can approach God’s throne with confidence.
Let us also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this trial. Though the path may feel difficult, **2 Corinthians 4:16-18** reminds us, *"Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."* This season of struggle is temporary, but the Lord is using it to refine your faith and draw you closer to Him.
We also urge you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, for the Lord often works through the hands of skilled physicians. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not neglect the practical steps the Lord may be leading you to take while you trust Him for complete healing.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister, asking for Your healing touch upon their eyes. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we know that You are moved with compassion for those who suffer. We ask that You would rebuke this pain, this blurriness, and this double vision, commanding it to leave in Your mighty name. Restore their sight fully, Lord, that they may read Your Word without hindrance and continue to grow in the knowledge of Your truth.
We thank You, Father, for the promise of healing found in **1 Peter 2:24**, which says, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."* We claim this healing over them now, believing that by Your stripes, they are made whole.
Fill them with Your peace as they wait on You, Lord. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are working all things together for their good. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness and power, not just in their life, but to all who witness Your mighty works.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or attack of the enemy against their body, for **1 John 3:8** tells us that *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil."* Satan has no authority here—only the power of the blood of Jesus prevails. We declare that their eyes are being renewed, their vision is being clarified, and their pain is being removed, all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also ask that You would use this time to draw them deeper into Your presence. May they sense Your nearness and hear Your voice speaking comfort and assurance over them. Let them know beyond any doubt that You are their Healer, their Provider, and their Strength.
We commit this request to You, Lord, trusting that You will answer according to Your perfect will and timing. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may they continue to place their hope and trust in You alone. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
