We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of pain and fear that weighs so heavily upon you. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord sees your struggle and hears your cry for healing.
Father God, we ask You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to touch this shoulder with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every fiber of our being. We declare Your Word over this injury: "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we rebuke this pain and this torn muscle in Jesus' name. We command healing and restoration to flow into this shoulder, bringing strength where there is weakness and wholeness where there is brokenness. We pray for supernatural healing, that the muscles would be knit back together, the inflammation would subside, and the pain would cease.
We also lift up the fear that grips this heart—the fear of not being able to provide for those you love. The enemy would love to use this pain to steal your peace and your hope, but we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lord, we ask You to replace this fear with faith. Remind this dear one that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even in this trial, You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you to seek wise medical counsel as well, for the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and therapists. But above all, trust in Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Surrender this pain and this fear to Him, and let Him carry the burden.
Father, we also pray for provision during this time of healing. If this injury has kept you from work, we ask You to open doors of opportunity, whether through temporary assistance, the help of others, or unexpected blessings. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, our Provider, and our Lord. Amen.
