We are truly sorry to hear about the severe abdominal pain and trouble with stools that has been afflicting this person. We are grateful that some relief has been found through medication, but we are crying out to the Lord Jesus Christ for complete healing. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. There is power in the name of Jesus and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In the book of Psalms, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and His healing power: "O LORD my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me" Psalm 30:2 WEB. We stand on this promise, trusting that God will hear our prayers and act according to His will.
We also remember the words of James, who encourages us to pray for one another that we may be healed: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" James 5:14-16 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and healing power for this precious soul who is experiencing severe abdominal pain and trouble with stools. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort that has been endured, and You know the desire of our hearts for healing. We cry out to You, asking that You would touch this person's body and bring complete healing and restoration. We pray that the pain would not recur when the medication stops, and that there would be no more hospital visits this year.
Lord, we also pray for strength and comfort for everyone involved during this time. Help us to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of trial. Give us the grace to endure and to glorify Your name in all things.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.
It is important for this person to seek the Lord during this time. To call out to Him and trust in Him. The Lord wants us to trust in Him and cast all our cares on Him. In times of sickness it is important to not only seek medical help but also draw closer to God.
