We lift up your friend’s knee to the Lord, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. Father, we know that You see this abscess and the pain it brings, and we ask for Your mighty hand of healing to touch this knee. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise and declare healing over this knee in the powerful name of Jesus.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to your friend. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, and in all our ways to acknowledge You. We do that now, trusting You for complete restoration.
We rebuke any infection, inflammation, or spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We command this abscess to dry up and for the knee to be made whole, just as Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing by faith, believing that what You have promised, You are also able to perform.
We encourage your friend to rest in You, Lord, and to continue seeking You in prayer and through Your Word. Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Remind them that even in suffering, You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that Your healing power is at work even now, and we wait expectantly for the manifestation of Your glory in this situation. May Your name be praised in the healing of this knee, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your friend’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
