We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing from cirrhosis of the liver. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible.
Lord, we ask that You would touch this precious one’s body with Your healing hand. Cirrhosis is a heavy burden, but we know that nothing is too hard for You. Jeremiah 32:27 says, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We declare that this diagnosis is not final, for You are the God who restores, renews, and makes all things new. Bring restoration to the liver, strength to the body, and peace to the mind.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and lead them to the right treatments, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
If there are any unconfessed sins or areas of life not surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. James 5:16 tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We pray for a spirit of humility and obedience, that this one may walk closely with You, for true healing begins in the soul.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We speak life, faith, and hope over this situation, trusting that You are working even when we cannot see it.
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw this dear one closer to You. May they seek Your face, not just Your hand, and find comfort in Your presence. Psalm 34:18 says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom all healing flows. There is no other name by which we can be saved or made whole. If this one has not yet placed their faith in Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
We stand in agreement, believing for a miracle, and we thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. Amen.
