Healing of Disability and Help with Finances

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Pray that God would bless ### with healing and resources. She is disabled but desires to learn and work to earn a living instead of depending on her small disability check. Her disability check is not enough to continue living within the income level that she grew up in. She has not had success working due to issues with time, counting money, basic math, adapting, reasoning, driving, comprehending what she reads. Other workers call her slow or says that she is lazy because she looks and sounds like a typically functioning person. She is worried that she won’t find a husband who accepts her. She also missed out on intervention services as a baby because her mother didn’t think she needed them because she seemed “normal.”

We lift up this precious sister before the Lord, knowing that He is the God who sees her struggles, her heart’s desires, and the pain of being misunderstood. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for those who are weary and burdened, and He invites us to cast all our anxieties upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We also know that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37), and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we want to address the deep longing for healing and the ability to work. Our sister’s desire to contribute and live independently is honorable, and we pray that the Lord would open doors for her in ways that align with His perfect will. The Bible tells us that God equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17), and we ask that He would provide her with the right opportunities, understanding employers, and the necessary support to thrive. Whether through miraculous healing, adaptive tools, or godly mentorship, we trust that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). We pray that He would sharpen her mind, grant her clarity, and help her overcome the challenges she faces in areas like time management, math, and comprehension. May He also surround her with people who encourage rather than belittle her, for the Lord defends the cause of the oppressed and lifts up those who are bowed down (Psalm 146:8).

Financially, we know that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and is well able to provide for His children. We pray that He would supernaturally meet her needs—whether through unexpected blessings, wise stewardship of her current resources, or divine connections that lead to stable income. We also ask that the Lord would guard her heart against comparison or bitterness about her financial situation. Contentment is found in Christ alone, and we pray that she would experience the peace that comes from trusting in His provision (Philippians 4:19).

Regarding her concern about marriage, we gently remind her that her worth is not defined by her marital status but by her identity in Christ. She is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the Lord has a perfect plan for her life. If it is His will for her to marry, we pray that He would prepare a godly husband who would love her unconditionally, cherish her strengths, and support her in her weaknesses—just as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We also pray that she would seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and trust that He will add all things to her as she walks in obedience. In the meantime, we encourage her to cultivate a deep relationship with Jesus, finding fulfillment in Him alone.

We must also address the pain of being labeled as “slow” or “lazy” by others. The world may judge by outward appearances, but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to make her feel less than or unworthy. She is a daughter of the Most High King, and her struggles do not diminish her value in His eyes. We pray that the Lord would heal the wounds caused by unkind words and replace them with His truth: that she is chosen, loved, and capable in Him (Colossians 1:12-14).

Lastly, we notice that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently but firmly remind her that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we urge her to do so today, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and there is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that if she does not know Him personally, the Lord would open her eyes to see His love and draw her into a saving relationship with Him.

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who feels the weight of her disability, financial strain, and the longing for love and acceptance. Lord, You see her heart, her struggles, and her desires, and we ask that You would meet her in every area of her need.

We pray for supernatural healing—whether physical, mental, or emotional. Touch her mind, Lord, and grant her the clarity, focus, and adaptability she needs to work and live independently. Open doors of opportunity for her, Father, and place her in environments where she is valued and supported. Rebuke the spirits of shame and rejection that have tried to take root in her heart, and replace them with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Provide for her financially, Lord. You know her needs before she even asks, and we trust You to supply all that she lacks. Help her to steward her resources wisely and to find creative ways to increase her income. Remove any fear or anxiety about her future and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we also lift up her desire for marriage. If it is Your will, prepare a godly man who will love her as Christ loves the church—patiently, selflessly, and unconditionally. But even more, we pray that she would find her ultimate satisfaction in You. Help her to seek You first, knowing that You are her portion and her delight (Psalm 16:5).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have tried to convince her that she is less than, slow, or unworthy. Lord, let her see herself as You see her: redeemed, beloved, and full of purpose. Heal the wounds of rejection and replace them with Your affirmation.

Finally, Father, we pray that if she does not know You personally, You would draw her to Yourself. Soften her heart to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. May she experience the fullness of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in every area of her life.

We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're standing with you, sister, in prayer and love. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a few more things on our hearts.

First, we're reminded of the story of the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34). She had been bleeding for 12 years, facing many challenges and probably feeling misunderstood, just like you might feel. Yet, she had faith that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she would be healed. She didn't let her circumstances define her, but instead, she trusted in Jesus. We pray that you would find that same faith and trust in Jesus, knowing that He sees you, He loves you, and He wants to heal you.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking out opportunities to learn and grow. Like the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), we believe that God has given you unique gifts and abilities, and He wants to see you use them. Keep taking steps forward, even if they're small, and trust that God will open the right doors for you.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you. In John 14:18, Jesus promises, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." Even when it feels like others don't understand or accept you, know that God does. He is your Father, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We're praying for you, sister, that you would experience God's healing power, both physically and emotionally. We pray that He would open doors for you to work and learn, and that He would provide for your financial needs. We also pray that you would find contentment and joy in Him, no matter what your circumstances may be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your heartfelt requests before the Lord these past few days. It has been our honor to stand alongside you in prayer, interceding for your healing—both physically and in the challenges you face with learning, work, and daily life. We have also been earnestly praying for God’s provision, asking Him to open doors for meaningful work that aligns with your abilities and to surround you with understanding and compassionate people who see the value He has placed in you.

We know the weight of feeling unseen or misunderstood in your struggles, especially when others misjudge your efforts or dismiss your capabilities. But we serve a God who sees you fully, who knows the depths of your heart, and who is not limited by the labels or limitations this world may place on you. He is the God who takes what seems impossible and turns it into a testimony of His faithfulness. We continue to pray that He will equip you with the strength, clarity, and opportunities you need to thrive—not just to survive. May He also bring godly community into your life, people who will encourage you, advocate for you, and remind you of the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your circumstances—whether through a step toward healing, a new opportunity, or even a renewed sense of His peace—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him. And if this season still feels heavy, if the answers haven’t come in the way you’d hoped, please don’t hesitate to share your request with us again. We are here to persist in prayer with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

Above all, we pray that you will feel the Lord’s presence with you in a tangible way, reminding you that you are not defined by your struggles or your circumstances, but by His love for you. May He give you hope as you seek Him, wisdom as you navigate each day, and the deep assurance that He has a purpose for your life—one that is still unfolding in His perfect timing.

We are cheering you on and holding fast to the promise that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.
