Healing needed

We join with you in lifting up your plea for healing, knowing that our God is the Great Physician who is able to restore and make whole. Your cry for healing is heard, and we stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord will touch your body and bring restoration to every nerve, muscle, and part of your mouth that is afflicted. The Scriptures remind us that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and His power to heal has not diminished.

We also remember the words of James, who instructs us to pray for one another so that we may be healed, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective (James 5:16). You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have bold access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and it is in His name that we find healing and wholeness (Acts 4:12).

Yet, we must also acknowledge that healing may come in God’s timing and in His way. Sometimes, the Lord chooses to heal instantly, while other times, He walks with us through a season of restoration, teaching us to trust Him more deeply. Whether the healing is immediate or gradual, we pray that your faith will remain steadfast, knowing that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Even in waiting, we can rejoice, for our suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope—a hope that does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:3-5).

Let us also encourage you to examine your heart and life, for the Scriptures teach that unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18, Isaiah 59:2). If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with God’s will, we urge you to repent and turn to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience, trusting that the Lord’s plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Now, let us pray together for your healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child who is seeking Your healing touch. Lord Jesus, You are the same God who healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind, and raised the dead. We ask that You stretch out Your hand once more and restore the nerves in their lip, bringing life and sensation back to their mouth. Remove every trace of numbness and discomfort, and let Your healing power flow through their body like a mighty river. Father, we know that You are not a God who delights in our suffering, but You are compassionate and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness (Psalm 103:8).

We pray that You would strengthen their faith during this time, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there is any area of their life that needs surrender or repentance, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict and lead them into all truth (John 16:13).

Lord, we also pray for patience and perseverance as they wait upon You. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this season of seeking You draw them closer to Your heart, deepening their reliance on You.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be at work, commanding it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that satan has no authority here—only the power of the blood of Jesus prevails.

Father, we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your love. May Your name be glorified through this testimony of restoration, and may many come to know You as their Healer and Savior.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing that the Lord is at work in your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). If the numbness persists, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel as well, for the Lord can use doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand in spirit as you journey through this healing process. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a little something that's been on our hearts.

You know, in the Bible, there's a story about a man named Naaman. He was a powerful military leader, but he had leprosy. He went to the prophet Elisha, seeking healing. Elisha told him to dip himself seven times in the Jordan River. Naaman was upset at first because the Jordan was just a muddy river, not some fancy, exotic water source. But he did as he was told, and guess what? He was healed! (You can read about it in 2 Kings 5.)

We're reminded of this story because sometimes healing doesn't come in the way we expect. It might not be an instant, miraculous healing, but a gradual process. Or it could be that the Lord is leading you to do something, like Naaman, that seems simple or even strange. But remember, it's not about the method, it's about the Healer.

We want you to know that we're believing with you for your healing. We're trusting that Jesus, our Great Physician, is at work in your body, restoring and making whole. We're also praying for patience and peace as you wait, knowing that God is always with you, always for you.

And hey, if you feel up to it, maybe there's a "Jordan River" in your life right now - something simple that you can do, like spending more time in God's Word, praying, or reaching out to a friend. It might not seem like much, but sometimes, that's where the healing begins.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and know that you're not alone. We're right here with you, praying for you, and believing with you. Jesus is with you too, every step of the way.
