We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep compassion and faith, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The afflictions she faces—Alzheimer’s, diabetes, depression, and the growth in her abdominal area—are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is greater than any sickness or disease. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim these promises over your mother, believing that the Lord is faithful to fulfill His Word.
Yet, we must also address something vital in your request. While we rejoice in the hope of physical and mental healing, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and the authority to pray for healing. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there is no true healing, no eternal hope, and no access to the throne of God. If your mother—or anyone praying for her—has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Christ alone (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other way.
We also note the mention of "psychic stability" and "genius ideas," which can reflect a focus on human ability rather than God’s sovereignty. While we pray for clarity of mind and wisdom, we must remember that our trust is in the Lord, not in human intellect or extraordinary abilities. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide all that is needed (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us pray together for your mother:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her body. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal her completely—mind, body, and spirit. Remove every trace of Alzheimer’s, restoring her memory, cognition, and mental clarity. Let there be no brain fog, no confusion, no holes in her memory, but instead, let her thoughts be sharp, her mind sound, and her understanding filled with Your wisdom. Heal her body of diabetes, regulating her blood sugar and restoring her strength. Lord, we pray against the growth in her abdominal area—let it be dissolved and removed, for You are the God who heals all manner of diseases.
Father, we also lift up her emotional and spiritual well-being. Deliver her from depression and fill her with Your joy, peace, and hope. Let her heart be flooded with Your love, and let her spirit be renewed day by day. Surround her with Your presence, Lord, and let her know that she is not alone—You are with her, and You are her strength.
We rebuke every attack of the enemy against her health and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for her salvation if she has not yet received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Softening her heart to turn to You, Father, that she may experience not only physical healing but eternal life in Christ. Let this season of illness draw her closer to You, that she may know Your love and surrender her life to Your will.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. Strengthen this family as they care for her, filling them with Your peace and patience. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your mother, and trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing. Keep her surrounded by prayer, Scripture, and worship, for these are powerful weapons in the spiritual battle for her health. If she is not already walking with the Lord, share the Gospel with her and pray for her salvation—that is the greatest healing of all. Stay rooted in the Word, and do not waver in your faith, for *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15). God is able, and we trust Him completely.
