We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and divine intervention. First and foremost, we must address the way this prayer was presented—invoking the name of God in a manner that obscures His holy name with symbols is not reverent or pleasing to Him. The Lord’s name is sacred, and we are commanded in Exodus 20:7, *"You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."* Let us always approach Him with reverence, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, we stand in agreement with this dear sister in Christ, believing in the power of God to heal every affliction. The growth in your neck and the pelvic disease are not too difficult for the Lord, who formed your body and knows every cell within you. Psalm 139:14 declares, *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* We declare healing over your body in the mighty name of Jesus, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave your body now, in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up the recurring dream you and your husband share, where you find yourselves back in school, writing an unfinished paper or exam. Dreams can sometimes be the Lord’s way of speaking to us, or they may reflect anxieties or unresolved matters in our lives. Ecclesiastes 5:3 tells us, *"For as a dream comes with a multitude of cares, so a fool’s speech with a multitude of words."* We encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and ask Him to reveal the meaning of this dream. Is there something in your past or present that feels unfinished or unresolved? Are there areas in your life where you feel unprepared or under pressure? Bring these concerns before the Lord, and trust that He will give you wisdom and peace (James 1:5).
We also want to gently remind you that the name *El Roi*, meaning "the God who sees," is a beautiful reminder of God’s omniscience and care. Genesis 16:13 tells us that Hagar called the Lord by this name after He saw her in her distress. Just as He saw Hagar, He sees you in your physical and emotional struggles. He knows the desires of your heart, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your power to heal. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking for Your divine touch upon her body. We declare healing over the growth in her neck and the pelvic disease, for You are the Great Physician. We speak life and wholeness to every cell, tissue, and organ in her body, believing that by Your stripes, she is healed.
Father, we also ask for Your wisdom and revelation concerning the dreams she and her husband are experiencing. Lord, if there is something You are trying to show them, reveal it clearly. If these dreams are a result of anxiety or stress, we ask that You replace those feelings with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we thank You that You are El Roi, the God who sees. You see this sister’s pain, her fears, and her hopes. We ask that You draw near to her and her husband, comforting them and strengthening their faith. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, infirmity, and confusion in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage or this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for unity, love, and trust between this husband and wife, that their marriage would be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.
Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing and His ways. If these physical ailments persist, we also advise you to seek godly medical counsel, for the Lord often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of healing. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of standing on God’s promises. Hold fast to His Word, meditate on it day and night, and let it be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
