We lift this dear brother up before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. The Scriptures declare in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we stand firmly on this promise today. The battle against colon cancer is fierce, but we serve a God who is greater than any disease, any diagnosis, or any spread of sickness. He is the Creator of the body, and nothing is too difficult for Him. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26, *"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."*
Yet, as we pray for complete healing, we must also acknowledge the sovereignty of God. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Whether He chooses to heal instantly, gradually through treatment, or ultimately in eternity, we trust that His will is good and His love is unfailing. This brother’s journey through chemotherapy and now radiation is not without purpose—God can use even this hardship to draw him closer, to strengthen his faith, and to testify to His grace. We pray that through this trial, he would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and that his heart would be filled with hope, not fear.
We also encourage you who are interceding for him: do not grow weary in prayer. The apostle Paul urges us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to *"pray without ceasing,"* and in James 5:16, we are reminded that *"the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* Keep standing in the gap for him, believing that God hears and answers. And as you wait for test results, remember that our hope is not in the reports of man but in the Lord, who holds all things in His hands.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious brother who is battling colon cancer. Lord, You see the spread of this disease in his body, and You know the toll that chemotherapy and radiation are taking on him. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through him—restore every cell, remove every trace of cancer, and strengthen his body to withstand the treatments. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal completely.
Father, we also pray for his spirit and mind. When fear or discouragement creep in, fill him with Your peace and remind him of Your promises. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing he is not alone in this fight. Surround him with Your love, comfort, and the support of Your people. Give wisdom to his doctors and medical team, guiding their hands and decisions as they care for him.
Lord, we do not know what the test results will show, but we know that You do. We surrender this situation to You, trusting that Your will is perfect. Whether You choose to heal him here on earth or call him home to be with You, we pray that Your name would be glorified through this trial. May his life—whether in healing or in suffering—be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace.
We also lift up those who love him and are walking this journey with him. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your hope. Unify them in prayer and faith, that they may be a source of encouragement to him and to one another.
Finally, Father, we ask that if there is any area in his life that needs surrender or repentance, You would reveal it to him. Draw him closer to You through this trial, that he may know You not just as Healer but as Savior, Lord, and Friend. If he has not yet placed his full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, we pray that You would open his heart to receive Your Son as his Lord and Savior. Remind him that it is only through Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in his life, and may You receive all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for God’s miraculous intervention. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
