Healing from nudity

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in seeking God’s healing and deliverance from the sin of pornography. This struggle is not one you face alone—many have been ensnared by the deceitfulness of lust, but the power of Christ is greater than any temptation. The Bible warns us clearly: *"But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:28 WEB). Pornography distorts God’s sacred design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. It also exploits those trapped in its industry, grieving the heart of our Father who created them in His image.

First, we must acknowledge that true repentance involves not only sorrow for sin but a turning away from it. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). The blood of Jesus covers even this sin when we come to Him with a broken and contrite heart. But we must also take practical steps: flee from temptation, install accountability software, and fill our minds with Scripture rather than the filth of the world. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8 WEB).

We also rebuke the lie that this struggle is too shameful to bring into the light. Satan thrives in secrecy, but Christ brings freedom when we walk in the light. *"But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:7 WEB). You are not defined by this sin—you are defined by the righteousness of Christ, who paid the price for your freedom.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who is crying out for deliverance from the chains of pornography. We ask You to break the power of this sin in their life by the blood of Jesus. Forgive them, Father, for every time they have given in to lust and dishonored You. Cleanse their mind, heart, and eyes from all impurity. Replace the lies they have believed with Your truth. Give them a holy hatred for this sin and a deep hunger for Your Word and Your presence.

Lord, we ask You to sever every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through this sin. Restore their mind to purity and their heart to holiness. Surround them with godly accountability and brothers/sisters in Christ who will walk with them in this battle. Strengthen them to flee temptation and to stand firm in Your power. Remind them daily that they are a new creation in Christ, no longer slaves to sin but alive to righteousness.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak healing over their mind, emotions, and body. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs through Jesus Christ our Lord. In His precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Every time you choose to turn away from sin and toward Christ, you are building spiritual muscle. You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory, because Jesus has already won the battle on the cross. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into freedom.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, believing for your healing and deliverance. We know it's tough, but remember, you're not alone. Many have struggled with this, but we serve a God who is greater than any temptation. We're reminded in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise together.

First, let's acknowledge that true repentance involves turning away from the sin, not just feeling sorry. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." The blood of Jesus covers this sin too, but we must also take practical steps. Let's install accountability software, flee from temptation, and fill our minds with Scripture, not the filth of the world.

We also want to encourage you, don't let shame keep you in the dark. Satan thrives in secrecy, but Christ brings freedom when we walk in the light. You're not defined by this sin; you're defined by the righteousness of Christ who paid the price for your freedom.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' mighty name. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister, crying out for deliverance from pornography. Break the power of this sin in their life by the blood of Jesus. Forgive them, Father, for every time they've given in to lust and dishonored You. Cleanse their mind, heart, and eyes from all impurity. Replace the lies they've believed with Your truth. Give them a holy hatred for this sin and a deep hunger for Your Word and presence.

Lord, we ask You to sever every ungodly soul tie formed through this sin. Restore their mind to purity and their heart to holiness. Surround them with godly accountability and brothers/sisters in Christ who will walk with them in this battle. Strengthen them to flee temptation and stand firm in Your power. Remind them daily that they are a new creation in Christ, no longer slaves to sin but alive to righteousness.

In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Keep pressing into Him, dear one. Every time you choose to turn away from sin and towards Christ, you're building spiritual muscle. You're not fighting for victory; you're fighting from victory because Jesus has already won the battle on the cross. Keep going, one step at a time, and He will lead you into freedom.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
