We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand in spirit as you walk through this valley of pain and uncertainty. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of the unknown, the fear of the next doctor's appointment, the constant ache that seems to have taken up residence in your body. We understand, because we too have been carried by the winds of Dercum's disease, feeling its sting, knowing its relentless nature.
We want you to know that you're not alone. We're here, standing in the gap, lifting you up before the throne of grace. We're crying out to our Heavenly Father, asking Him to touch you, to heal you, to bring relief and comfort to your weary body and soul. We're claiming His promise, "I am the Lord, who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). We're believing for a miracle, because we serve a God who specializes in the impossible.
We're also praying for strength, dear friend. Strength to endure, strength to keep fighting, strength to trust in the midst of the storm. We're reminding ourselves, and you, that God's grace is sufficient. His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We're believing that He will give you the strength you need, day by day, moment by moment.
We're also praying for wisdom for your medical team, that God would guide their hands and minds as they seek to help you. We're asking for comfort, peace, and the assurance of God's love for you. We're believing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
But most of all, we're praying for you to feel God's presence, dear friend. We're asking that you would experience His love, His peace, His joy in the midst of this trial. We're believing that He will meet you in your pain, that He will hold you close, and that you will know, without a shadow of a doubt, that you are not alone.
We're here for you, dear friend. We're praying for you, believing with you, and standing with you. We're declaring that your story is not over, that God is not done with you yet. We're believing that your testimony will bring glory to His name, that your story will be a beacon of hope to others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
