We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your prayer is already aligned with the will of God, for we are told in **1 Peter 2:24**, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."* We claim this promise over your son’s life, believing that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in him, renewing his lungs, clearing his airways, and restoring his breath.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (**John 10:10**). COPD and asthma are not of God—they are the result of a fallen world, but our Father is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, commanding inflammation to cease, infections to be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, and his immune system to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Let every breath he takes be a testament to God’s healing power, even in high humidity or challenging conditions.
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, for **James 5:15** declares, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Do not waver in your belief, but speak life over your son, reminding him that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). Encourage him to guard his health, to avoid anything that may aggravate his condition, and to trust in the Lord’s timing, for healing may come instantly or progressively—but it *will* come as we persist in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom all healing flows. Lord, we lift up this precious son to You, asking for the complete restoration of his lungs and respiratory system. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare his healing from COPD and asthma, commanding every diseased cell to be made whole, every airway to open wide, and his immune system to be fortified against all sickness. Let Your healing virtue flow through his body, removing all inflammation, cleansing every infection, and renewing his strength like the eagle’s (**Isaiah 40:31**).
Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind as he trusts in You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in divine health and testify of Your goodness. Give his family wisdom to support him, whether through medical care, lifestyle changes, or simply speaking Your Word over him daily. We reject fear, doubt, and discouragement, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (**2 Timothy 1:7**).
We thank You, Lord, for what You are doing and what You will continue to do. May this season of trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, drawing him—and all who witness his healing—closer to You. We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister or brother. The Lord hears your cries, and He is moving on behalf of your son. Keep praising Him in advance for the victory!
