We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, trusting in the power of our Great Physician, Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see your faith in praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of healing and restoration. As Scripture declares, *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and do what is right in his eyes, and pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB). We claim this promise over your son’s life today, believing that God is faithful to His Word.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). COPD and asthma are not from the Lord—they are the result of living in a fallen world where sickness and disease exist. But we serve a God who is greater than any illness, and we stand on His promise that *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray that every inflamed airway in your son’s lungs would be soothed by the healing touch of Jesus, that every breath would come easily and fully, and that his immune system would be strengthened supernaturally to resist all sickness. May the Lord rebuked the humid air that aggravates his condition and grant him relief, for *"he sends out his commandment on earth. His word runs very swiftly. He gives snow like wool and scatters frost like ashes. He throws his ice crystals like morsels. Who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow"* (Psalm 147:15-18, WEB). Even the weather must submit to the authority of our God!
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your son. Do not grow weary in prayer, for *"the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results"* (James 5:16, WEB). Anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord, as Scripture instructs, and believe that God is working even now. Let your home be filled with praise and thanksgiving, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). As you worship, the atmosphere shifts, and healing is released.
Father God, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, asking for the complete and total healing of this precious son. You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every breath he takes. Lord, we ask that You breathe Your life into his lungs—restore them to full health, remove every trace of COPD and asthma, and let him breathe freely as You intended. Strengthen his immune system to be a mighty fortress against all sickness, and let no virus or infection take hold in his body. We speak against the humidity that causes him distress and command it to have no power over his breathing. Let Your healing virtue flow through him, renewing every cell, every tissue, and every organ in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also pray for peace to guard his heart and mind, for we know that stress and anxiety can exacerbate these conditions. Fill him with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him rest in the knowledge that You are his Healer and his Strength.
Lord, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. We declare that your son will run and not be weary, he will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31), and he will live a life full of vitality and purpose for Your glory. We bind every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave his body now in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We praise You, Lord, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is manifesting even now. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister or brother. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth. Continue to lift your son up in prayer, and trust that God is moving on his behalf. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for his complete restoration. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you both as you walk in His healing power.
