We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother in prayer, dear ###. We stand on the promise of God’s Word, which declares, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15 WEB). We believe in the power of prayer and the sovereignty of our Heavenly Father, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17 WEB). We ask for Your divine healing touch to rest upon ###’s brother. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows every cell in his body. We rebuke this blood cancer in the name of Jesus and command it to leave his body. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Strengthen his body, restore his health, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they care for him. We trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Even in this trial, we ask that You draw ###’s family closer to You and deepen their faith.
###, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. The enemy may whisper doubt, but we declare that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and surround your brother with believers who will stand in faith with you. Remember, *"The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18 WEB). We also urge you to ensure that your brother and your family are rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life (John 14:6 WEB). If there is any uncertainty about his faith or yours, we encourage you to surrender your lives fully to Christ, repenting of any sin and trusting in His sacrifice for salvation.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do the impossible. May His healing power flow through your brother’s body, and may His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
