We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is suffering from a back injury that brings him pain and robs him of restful sleep. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon him, bringing relief, restoration, and comfort in this time of physical struggle.
Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We claim this promise over your son, Lord, trusting that You see his pain and will bring healing according to Your perfect will. We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith, believing that as we pray, You will move mightily on his behalf.
Father, we ask that You would grant him patience and peace as he waits for Your healing touch. Strengthen his body, ease his discomfort, and grant him the rest he so desperately needs. Surround him with Your presence, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May he feel Your love and care in tangible ways, drawing him closer to You in this season.
We also pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that You would guide their hands and give them insight into the best course of treatment. May Your healing power flow through every remedy, therapy, or intervention, bringing full restoration to his body.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain that seeks to linger in his life. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word, which cannot return void. We trust You for complete healing, whether it comes suddenly or gradually, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
