We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is suffering from a back injury that brings him pain and robs him of restful sleep. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit us together in our mothers’ wombs and knows every bone in our bodies (Psalm 139:13-15). We declare Your healing power over this injury, asking that You would touch his body, ease his pain, and restore him to full strength and vitality.
Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your Word tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over your son today. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command every cell, muscle, and nerve in his back to align with Your perfect design. Give him the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) so that he may rest, even as You work within him.
We also pray for wisdom for those who are treating him—whether doctors, therapists, or caregivers. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Remind your son that his hope is in You, not in the circumstances he faces (Jeremiah 17:7-8). Strengthen his faith as he waits on You, and let him experience Your comfort in tangible ways.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified through this trial, and may Your healing power be evident to all who see. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
