Healing from back injury

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your son, lifting him up in prayer for complete healing from this back injury that has brought him pain and sleepless nights. It is beautiful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and grace in our time of need. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We cling to this promise as we intercede for your son, trusting that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His perfect will.
The pain and discomfort your son is experiencing can feel overwhelming, but we are reminded in God’s Word that He is our healer. In Jeremiah 30:17, the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We stand on this truth, asking the Lord to touch your son’s body with His healing power, to mend the injury, and to restore strength and comfort to him. May the Lord also grant him restful sleep, for even in our weakness, God’s power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord’s timing and purpose, even when the pain persists. Sometimes, God uses our trials to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to remind us of our dependence on His strength. As the psalmist writes, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Let this season be one where your son—and your entire family—experiences the nearness of God in a profound way.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body and knows every fiber of his being. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch his back, bringing complete healing and restoration. Remove all pain and inflammation, Lord, and knit together every part of his body that has been injured. Grant him the ability to sleep peacefully, free from discomfort, and fill him with Your supernatural strength and peace.
We also pray that through this trial, Your presence would be tangible to him and to this family. May they feel Your love surrounding them and be reminded that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience and faith to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, we rebuked any spirit of infirmity or pain in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave and for Your healing power to flow through his body. We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that will come from this situation, bringing glory and honor to Your name.

We know the discomfort he's going through can be overwhelming, but we're reminded in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
