We are deeply moved by your request for healing for your son, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. It is beautiful to see you invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. As Scripture reminds us in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."*
We also take comfort in the words of James 5:14-15, which instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint your son, we stand in faith with you, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and will bring restoration to his body. We encourage you, if possible, to seek elders in your local church to pray over him in person, as Scripture directs.
Pain and sleeplessness can be wearisome, but we know that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let us also pray that your son’s faith would be strengthened through this trial, that he would draw near to the Lord and find peace in His presence, even in the midst of discomfort. Psalm 4:8 declares, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord alone, make me live in safety."* May your son experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch his body, bringing complete healing to his back. Remove every trace of pain, inflammation, and injury, and restore him to full strength and health. Lord, we pray that You would grant him restful sleep, free from discomfort, so that his body may be renewed and refreshed each night.
We also pray that during this time, You would draw him closer to Yourself. May he feel Your presence in a powerful way, knowing that You are with him and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Give him patience and endurance, and fill him with Your peace that transcends all understanding.
Father, we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your son, and trusting that the Lord is at work, even when we cannot see it. Keep bringing your requests before God, for He cares deeply for you and your son (1 Peter 5:7). If there is any sin in his life that may be hindering his healing, we gently encourage him to repent and turn fully to the Lord, for our God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We will continue to pray for your son’s complete recovery and for your family’s strength and faith during this time. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you all.
