Healing from back injury

Please pray for healing for my son from a back injury causing him pain and inability to sleep, thank you kindly.. in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon his back injury. The pain and sleepless nights must be wearying, but we know our God is the Great Physician, who sees and cares for every need. The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we do not know if sin is at the root of this suffering, we trust that God’s mercy and power are greater than any affliction.

Let us also remember **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, which declares, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your son, asking the Lord to restore his body, ease his pain, and grant him restful sleep. May this trial draw him closer to Christ, strengthening his faith and trust in the One who holds all things together.

We also encourage you to speak life and healing over him, reminding him of God’s promises. Let him know that even in suffering, the Lord is near, and His grace is sufficient. If there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness in his heart, now is the time to surrender it to Jesus, for our bodies and spirits are deeply connected. **"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones,"** as **Proverbs 17:22 (WEB)** tells us. May joy and peace fill his heart as he waits on the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing power to flow through our brother’s son. Touch his back, Lord, and restore every damaged tissue, nerve, and bone. Rebuke the pain and grant him deep, restorative sleep. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let this season of suffering be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and draw him into a deeper walk with You. We declare healing in Jesus’ name, for by His stripes, we *are* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**). Let Your will be done, Lord, and may Your name be glorified through this. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears and answers. Keep us updated on his progress so we may continue to lift him up. If there are any areas in his life where he needs to align more closely with God’s Word—whether in trust, obedience, or surrender—let this be a time of spiritual renewal as well. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
