We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your loved one, lifting him up in prayer for divine healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over his life, trusting in God’s mercy and power to heal.
It is clear you care deeply for this person, and we encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:35, *"Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."* Just as Christ showed compassion and brought healing during His earthly ministry, we ask for that same healing touch upon your loved one’s liver, that it may be restored to full health and function.
We also urge you to examine your own heart in this time of intercession. Are there areas of unconfessed sin, doubt, or fear that may hinder your prayers? The Lord calls us to come before Him with clean hands and a pure heart (Psalm 24:3-4). If there is anything in your life or the life of the one you are praying for that is not aligned with God’s will, we encourage repentance and surrender to His perfect plan.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is suffering. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every organ and knows the intricate details of our bodies. We ask for Your healing hand to touch his liver, restoring it to perfect health. Remove every trace of disease, every pain, and every weakness, and let Your life-giving power flow through him.
Father, we also pray for strength and faith for those who love him. Replace fear with trust, doubt with confidence in Your promises, and sorrow with the joy of Your presence. Help us all to remember that Your ways are higher than ours, and even in suffering, You are working for our good and Your glory.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave and never return. We declare health, wholeness, and vitality over this body, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Lord, if there is any sin or unrepentant heart involved, we ask for conviction and a turning toward You. May this trial draw him—and all of us—closer to You, deepening our reliance on Your grace and mercy.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
