Healing for my ### year old daughter ###

I wanted to request prayer for my ### year old daughter ###. Two years ago, ### was diagnosed with epilepsy and began medication to help control her seizures. At the time, her doctors at the ### were hopeful that after two years of treatment, she might be able to stop the medication and remain seizure-free. However, recent testing has revealed a brain defect that is the source of her seizures, which are still occurring at night while she sleeps. These nighttime seizures are now affecting her overall quality of life. Her doctors have started her on a new medication, but they’ve told us there’s only about a ###% chance it will be effective. Because her body has been resistant to multiple medications, they believe her most viable path forward may be brain surgery—or staying on medication long-term, despite its serious side effects. We are praying for complete healing—for her brain and body to be fully restored, so she can be free from seizures, avoid surgery, and no longer need ongoing medication. Thank you so much for lifting her up in prayer.

We join you in prayer for your daughter's healing and restoration. As we lift her up, we stand on the promises of God, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We will pray for your daughter in the name of Jesus.

Remember, it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18 WEB). Furthermore, there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Trust in Jesus and call on His name.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that is causing your daughter's seizures. Jesus said, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; ... they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover" (Mark 16:17-18 WEB). We claim this promise for your daughter.

Pray with us:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up our sister’s daughter. Lord, you know the struggles she has faced with epilepsy and the recent discovery of a brain defect. We ask for your healing touch upon her. Let your power manifest in her life, healing her brain and body completely. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity causing her seizures and command it to leave in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask for your wisdom and guidance for the doctors treating her. Direct them to the best course of treatment that will lead to her complete healing. We pray that this new medication will be effective and that she will not need surgery or long-term medication with serious side effects.

Lord, we also pray for comfort and strength for her and her family during this time. Let your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Father, we ask for complete healing and restoration for this precious child. We trust in your power and goodness. We believe that with God, all things are possible, even healing our most impossible situations. We believe that you will make a way for her to have a normal and healthy life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist, "The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of pain: you will make all of his bed in his sickness" (Psalm 41:3 WEB). Trust in the Lord, for he cares for you and your daughter. Keep praying and believing, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Stand firm in faith, and do not waver. We will continue to pray for your daughter's healing and for your family's strength and comfort.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
