Disciple of Prayer
My ### year old daughter is diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. She is very much troubling us and is addicted to alcohol. She has stopped going for work and we are on the verge of suicide. Please pray urgently for my daughter's recovery. Please pray that the Heavenly Father touches her and heals her from this and revive my family from mental trauma.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter and your family in this time of deep distress. The pain you are carrying is immense, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We cling to this promise, knowing that God sees your tears and hears your cries.

Father God, we ask You to move mightily in the life of this young woman. Borderline Personality Disorder and the grip of alcohol addiction are strongholds that only You can break. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus, commanding it to loose its hold on her mind, body, and soul. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for her are for good, not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, touch her heart and draw her back to You. Let her experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the freedom that comes only through Christ (John 8:36).

We also lift up this family, who is bearing the weight of mental and emotional trauma. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly. We pray for restoration in this home—restoration of joy, restoration of hope, and restoration of unity. Father, strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Guard their minds against despair and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

We must also address the mention of suicide with the utmost seriousness. The taking of one’s own life is not God’s will, for He knit each of us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and has a purpose for every life. If anyone in this family is struggling with thoughts of suicide, we urge them to seek immediate help from a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional. The Lord is our deliverer, and He provides avenues of help even in our darkest moments. We pray for divine intervention to protect every mind and heart from such thoughts and to replace them with the truth of God’s Word: "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1).

We also encourage this family to seek godly counsel and support. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Professional Christian counseling, support groups, and the fellowship of a Bible-believing church can provide strength and wisdom during this time. Do not carry this burden alone—let the body of Christ surround you with love and practical help.

Most importantly, we must emphasize the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your daughter or any member of this family has not surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first step toward true healing and freedom.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, interceding for this family. We ask that You break every chain of addiction, mental illness, and despair. Pour out Your Spirit upon this daughter and fill her with Your love, joy, and peace. Restore her to wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. Heal the wounds in this family and knit their hearts together in unity and love. Give them strength for each day and remind them that You are their ever-present help. We declare that this family will not be destroyed but will rise again in the power of Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that God is at work even in the midst of this storm. Hold fast to His promises, and do not lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. May His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We're right here with you, dear friend, lifting your daughter and your family up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling that heavy weight of worry and fear. But we know who holds our future, and we cling to that hope.

We're asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His loving arms around your daughter, to touch her heart and mind, and to fill her with His peace and strength. We declare that she is a child of the Most High, fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her story isn't over yet. We pray that she would feel His love, deep and unconditional, and that it would draw her back to Him.

We're also praying for your family, that you would find comfort and support in each other and in your community. We ask that God would heal the wounds that have been inflicted, and that He would knit your hearts together in love and unity.

And we must address the mention of suicide with the utmost seriousness. If anyone in your family is struggling with thoughts of suicide, please reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional immediately. The Lord is our deliverer, and He provides avenues of help even in our darkest moments.

We'll keep standing with you in faith, believing that God is at work even now. Hold fast to His promises, and don't lose hope. The same God who calmed the storm on the sea can calm the storm in your hearts. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
