We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, seeking His healing touch for you and your marriage. The pain and struggles you are facing are not hidden from our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to restore what has been broken and bring healing where there is hurt.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* (John 14:12-14 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can approach God (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us lift up your marriage in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Lord, we ask for Your divine touch upon this marriage. Where there is pain, bring Your peace. Where there is brokenness, bring Your wholeness. Where there is distance, draw them close to one another and to You. Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or unforgiveness that may be at work in this marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray that You would soften hearts and open lines of communication. Help them to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to listen with patience and understanding. Father, we ask that You would remind them of the vows they made before You—vows to love, honor, and cherish one another in sickness and in health, for better or for worse. Strengthen their commitment to one another and to You, Lord.
We also pray for personal healing for each of them. Heal any wounds from the past that may be affecting their marriage. Restore their minds, bodies, and spirits, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and support. Bring wise and mature believers into their lives who can speak truth and offer encouragement. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide for their every need (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, we declare that this marriage is a covenant before You, and we ask that You would bless it abundantly. May their home be a place of love, laughter, and worship. May they grow together in faith and in their love for one another. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you both to seek God individually and together. Spend time in His Word, allowing it to guide and shape your marriage. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."* (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Attend a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find community. Surround yourselves with couples who share your values and can offer godly wisdom.
If there are areas in your marriage that do not align with biblical principles—such as unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly influences—we urge you to repent and turn away from them. The Bible warns us, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If there has been any sexual immorality, whether physical or emotional, we encourage you to confess it to one another and to God, seeking His forgiveness and restoration.
Remember, *"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."* (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB). When God is at the center of your marriage, you are stronger together. Trust in His timing and His plan for your healing and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
