We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from fever, headache, body pain, and gastric distress. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We declare Your promise from Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this truth, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask You to touch this beloved child of Yours with Your healing hand. Ease the pain, lower the fever, and restore strength to their body. Bring comfort to their aching head, hands, and legs, and settle their stomach. We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We command this affliction to leave in Jesus' name, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there is any unconfessed sin or area of life not surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You reveal it so that this one may repent and walk in Your ways. For it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We know that sin can open the door to sickness, and we desire to live in the fullness of Your health and blessing.
Father, we thank You for the gift of modern medicine and ask that You guide the hands of any doctors or caregivers involved. Give them wisdom and insight as they provide treatment. We also pray for patience and trust in Your timing, for Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that this one is healed, whole, and restored, for by His wounds, we are healed.
May this trial draw them closer to You, Lord, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We trust in You, our Healer and Redeemer, and we give You all the glory. Amen.
