Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your honest prayer with us. We join you in thanking God that He hears our prayers, and we bring your need for healing and for peace before Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and receive every good gift.
We pray for you now that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon your body according to His wisdom and mercy, and that He would deliver you from the weight of anxiety that presses on you. Scripture reminds us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, so that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Anxiety can make the heart shudder and the body feel weak, and sickness can wear down our strength. God knows this. He is the true physician who does not grow weary in applying His healing treatment. Even when we have heard His word many times and still feel afraid or unwell, He continues His work in us patiently, like a physician who keeps tending the sick until health returns. Keep hearing His word carefully and keeping it continually in your mind, for that steady remembrance, together with trust in Christ, helps to establish the soul in security and liberty and to free it from fear.
We also encourage you to keep walking closely with the Lord each day in prayer, in reading Scripture, and in fellowship with other believers who can support you. If your anxiety or physical need continues, do not hesitate to seek wise medical care as well, while above all looking to Christ as your hope and healer, not to empty charms or quick fixes, but to Him who alone gives life and peace.
We are praying for you:
Father God, thank You for Your blessings and for hearing us when we pray. In the name of Jesus, we ask for Your healing presence upon this dear one in body and for deliverance from anxiety. Grant calm where there is fear, strength where there is weakness, and a deep assurance of Your love and care. Help this heart to rest in You, to be renewed by Your word, and to know Your peace day by day. We trust this need to Your good will and ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Please let us know how you are doing so we can continue to pray for you.
